A late-night fire swept through a five-star hotel in the Alps.

A major fire broke out at a luxury five-star hotel in the Alpine region late last night, triggering a large-scale emergency response and forcing the evacuation of hundreds of guests and staff. The blaze reportedly started on the upper floors of the property, sending thick plumes of smoke into the night sky and raising concerns across nearby mountain villages.

Local fire brigades, supported by rescue teams and medical personnel, reached the scene within minutes. Guests were guided out through emergency exits and gathered at designated safe zones despite freezing temperatures. Authorities confirmed that no fatalities have been reported so far, though several people were treated for smoke inhalation at nearby medical centers.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Officials have secured the site and launched a full safety inspection to assess structural damage. The hotel, a popular destination for winter tourists, will remain closed until further notice as authorities work to ensure the safety of the premises.
